I am a firm believer in the TBS black bucktail jig. I use the 1/8 oz jig tipped with a gulp swimming minnow. 90% of my reds have been caught this way as I fish around the oyster bars. Flounder will jump on this combination too. Fish it slow and stay in contact with the jig for best results. If the tide is strong, I flip it up current and let it fall naturally hoping a red wil see it as it bounces along the bottom. Try this technique one time and you will be surprised how productive it can be.
